Tim Twellman Family

Tim, a St. Louis native, has lived in Chesterfield, Missouri with his wife, Moochie, for over thirty years.  He attended St. Louis University High School and SIUE for college, as a two-sport athlete. Upon graduation, he played professional soccer for over ten years. Tim and Moochie have three children, all of whom received scholarships to play Division 1 soccer. Taylor attended the University of Maryland as a two-sport athlete, James attended Stanford and Alexandra attended University of RIchmond and St. Louis University.


Taylor Twellman

After two seasons with the University of Maryland Terrapins, Taylor left college to turn professional.

Taylor played professional soccer from 1999-2009.  He was the youngest player to score 100 goals in MLS in 2009 at the age of 29, and is New England's all time leading goal scorer.  A five time MLS all-star, Taylor was the league MVP in 2005.  Twellman also earned 30 caps for the U.S. National team, scoring 6 international goals. In 2010, Taylor announced his retirement due to severe concussion issues.  

He founded www.ThinkTaylor.org with a mission to create social change in the world of traumatic brain injuries. Taylor joined ESPN IN 2011 as their lead analyst for Major League Soccer and U.S. Men's National Team matches.

Taylor is an advisor with both Choose It Right and Twellman Soccer.


James Twellman

James attended Stanford University.  He was an Academic All American for four years and captain his senior year. Upon graduation, James played professional soccer for the San Jose Earthquakes for one year before retiring due to injury in 2005.   He is currently Vice President of mergers and acquisitions for U.S. Endodontics Parter, a private equity firm based in Chicago, Il.

James designed our core service offering and consults for Choose It Right, the Smart College Report.


Alexandra Twellman Morris

Alexandra attended University of Richmond for two years and transferred to Saint Louis University.   Alex played all four years and served as a captain her senior year at SLU.  She graduated, Summa Cum Laude,  in 2007.  Her team was inducted into the 2005 Saint Louis University Billiken Hall of Fame. 


Alex is a Business Development Manager with Choose It Right and works closely with the kids involved with Twellman Soccer.
